Tune Out

It’s no wonder our society is in such shambles with so many prejudices in the world. Everyone is against something that they, themselves, are not. The more & more we descend into the age of technology, the deeper we nose dive into the “generation of selfies”, the more & more prejudice society becomes.

Media definitely promotes prejudices. Media also promotes infinite amounts of immorality. Media shows us all things. Most of the things we read, hear, & watch contain ideas & images otherwise unimaginable to us, whether we want to accept it our not. The concepts are now filed away in our mind. Television, magazines, radio, & social media have become the retina of the mind’s eye.

During the 1950s, television became the primary medium for molding public opinion. Via Wikipedia search Television

Society is a melting pot of good , not so good, & down right evil opinions being spread far and wide over many channels, over many seas, straight into the eyes, hearts, & minds of individuals. The world has turned into a very visual, very selfie-absorbed type of culture that is being advocated everywhere, on everything. This is not a fad. This is a foundation that the future generation is built upon.

For our struggle is not against flesh & blood, but against the rulers, against powers, against the world forces of darkness, against spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12

The only standard of living is that in unity with Christ: peace, purity, righteousness, incorruptible love. Teach the children well. Make TV time Bible time. Forget what media has made you feel about your health, Muslims, Christians, tiny houses, food, relationships, and ‘reality’. Always search for light in the darkness.

As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here & there by waves & carried about by every wind of doctrine, by trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming; but speaking the truth in love we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ.    Ephesians 4:14-15
